One Direction are a British-Irish boy band consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. They finished third on the seventh series of The X Factor. Following The X Factor, the group signed a record contract with Sony Music subsidiarySyco Records.

One Direction's debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" ( one of my favourite song ) was released on 11 September 2011. The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number one on 18 September 2011, shifting 153,965 copies, becoming the third fastest selling single of 2011. Their second single, "Gotta Be You", was released on 13 November 2011, which peaked at number three. Their debut album Up All Night was released on 21 November 2011. The album peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart, selling 138,631 copies, and was the fastest-selling debut album on the UK Albums Chart of 2011. Up All Night was the sixteenth biggest selling album on the UK Albums Chart of 2011, with 468,000 copies sold.

"What Makes You Beautiful" won the Best British Single award at the 2012 BRIT Awards, which was held on 21 February 2012.

his BIOGRAPHY

Harry Edward Styles born on 1 February 1994 ( same year as me , awww ~!) He is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England, UK and was a pupil at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, a state comprehensive school. Styles was born to mother Anne and father Des. Styles has an older sister Gemma Styles. Styles revealed that as a child he loved singing. Noting Elvis Presley as one of his influences. Styles was seven when his parents divorced.His mother later remarried to Styles's step-father Robin Twist. Styles was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo with band members lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny. Styles auditioned with "Isn't She Lovely" and received positive comments from two of the three judges present at his audition, with Louis Walsh having doubts on whether he was ready to progress in the competition. At bootcamp, he sang "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" before being rejected and put into One Direction. Styles currently resides with band member Louis Tomlinson in North London. Styles briefly dated Caroline Flack, which caused widespread media controversy over their fifteen year age gap. And they have breakup at the BRIT Awards after party .. This is a good news for me . Haha :P
